Husum Highlands Country Wedding Package
June through October (2009-2010)
Day-Use Package Includes:
- Check in 11:00 a.m. day of event, event concludes by 11:00 p.m.
- Wedding Coordinator to work with you on the day of event.
- On-site parking for event
- Parking attendants
- Wedding and Reception areas
- We will provide 60" rounds which seat 8 ppl to a table (wedding party is responsible for providing linens for their tables)
- We will provide white resin wedding chairs.
- Set up of tables and chairs
- 5-8' banquet tables for Food/Bar (3 for Caterer, 2 for Bar/Beverage)
- Outdoor lighting of walks and driveway
- Lighting over upper lawn (Reception area)
- Lighting in trees, tikki torches
- Access to property grounds, waterfall, pond, and flower gardens
- Garden Gazebo and Wedding Arch for ceremony
- Cake Table - 48" round
- Gift Table - 6' oblong
- Guest Sign-in Table - 18" Bistro Table
- Use of 2 10x10 white canopies
- Bottled water for bridal party
- Use of 2 galvanized metal wash tubs
- Dressing area for Bride (Guest Room)
- Dressing area for Groom (Guest Room)
- Restroom facilities for guests (Porta-Potties with wash station)
- Tent available for inclement weather (additional fee)
If a wedding rehearsal is needed, 1 hour will be scheduled the day or night before the wedding. At this time you will meet the Wedding Coordinator for Husum Highlands and go over any last-minute details.
Day of wedding: Bridal party may have access to dressing rooms, dining, and parlor areas in main house. Wedding guests will be directed to the outdoor ceremony and reception sites.
Due to County Noise Ordinance, reception music must be played at a reasonable volume during event and end at 10:30 p.m., with event over by 11:00p.m.
We will be happy to provide you with a list of preferred vendors for catering, flowers, cakes, music, photography, etc. These are people we have worked with in the past who have done exceptional jobs for other events.

Mid-week rates (Monday-Friday):
- $500 off the above prices
Deposit:
- $700 non-refundable deposit will secure your event date.
- 50% of balance due 60 days from booking date.
- Remaining balance due 30 days prior to event.
Cancellation:
- Must cancel 30 days prior to event in order to receive a 50% refund of wedding total.
Please Note:
- Husum Highlands is a non-smoking establishment.
- No dogs on premises (service dogs excepted).
Lodging Accommodations:
If you would like accommodations at the Bed & Breakfast the night of your event, we would be happy to extend a discounted rate for our four beautifully decorated guest rooms. Our regular rates range from $149 to $189 per night plus 7% tax. Wedding guests will receive a discounted rate of $100 per room plus 7% tax, double occupancy. We also have a rollaway and a trundle bed to accommodate two more at a cost of $20 per person, for a total of up to 10 overnight guests.
These rates also include our wonderful, home-cooked country breakfast the following morning.
